Based in the Rocky Mountain region, Facility Development Group is a relationship-centered firm driven by a passion for cleanly executed projects and exceptional client service. Our Philosophy and Approach

The expert service we provide to clients is guided by three underlying principles. First, provide a better quality of life for our clients by alleviating burden and increasing confidence in the monitoring, execution, and compliance related activities of major capital projects. Second, passionately protect the owner's interests by closely monitoring and executing the project within the constraints of scope, schedule and budget. And third, build a cooperative team atmosphere with all parties to enable efficient problem solving and success on the project.

An important factor in making every project successful is effective communication of expectations. To that end, some of our critical ground rules implemented during project startup are:

  • Successful projects are defined by great teams, not by an absence of issues

  • Unexpressed expectations are a trap lying in wait

  • Bad news is much more valuable than no news; decisions can be made around bad news

  • When feasible, co-location of project team to foster team camaraderie and effortless communication

  • Face-to-face communication encouraged above phone or email

  • Bad news cannot wait; all problems to be identified and brought forward at first blush

  • Bad news to be delivered in person before in writing

  • Issues are owned and solved by the team

  • Fairness incorporated into all solutions
